2017 World Taekwondo Championships Symbols
"Tae-ri"
"Tae-ri" signifies " Becoming one through Taekwondo".
"T" is the first letter of each word in the slogan "Taekwondo Tiger, Training Together " and expresses the identity and values of the competition.
A-Rang
"A-rang " refers to " unique Korean Sentiments," and incorporates the hope that by vitalizing the spirit of the Korean People ,the 2017 WTF World Taekwondo Championships held in Muju, a place that lies at the center of Taekwondo ,Will become a festival of global unity and co-existence. Based on this hope ,the circular emblem for the championships has been selected to be a friendly personalization of a white tiger.
